Who Is Manjushri? 

Manjushri, (Tibetan: Jampalyang),  "Gentle Glory" — is the Bodhisattva of wisdom, learning, and enlightened intelligence in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. He is considered the oldest and most exalted of all Bodhisattvas, said to have already attained Buddhahood countless aeons ago yet chose to remain in Bodhisattva form to guide beings toward wisdom.
