Why this Statue?

This masterpiece represents authentic Nepalese craftsmanship, combining traditional Buddhist iconography with exquisite artistry—perfect for meditation spaces, collectors, or anyone seeking wisdom's divine presence in their daily life.

Who is Simhanada Manjushri?

Simhanada Manjushri, literally meaning "Lion's Roar Manjushri," represents one of Buddhism's most revered manifestations of wisdom and enlightenment. This powerful deity embodies the courage to speak truth and dispel ignorance with the fierce determination of a lion's roar that echoes across the spiritual realm.

Divine Features and Sacred Posture

The statue showcases Manjushri's serene golden face adorned with a jeweled crown, his compassionate eyes gazing downward in meditation. His four arms demonstrate divine omnipotence—the primary hands hold a sword of wisdom and sacred text, while secondary hands display mudras of teaching and protection. Seated in the lotus position atop a fierce lion, this posture symbolizes wisdom conquering ignorance and fear, with the lion representing the untamed power of enlightened consciousness.

Sacred Symbolism and Meaning

Every element carries profound meaning: the flaming sword cuts through delusion, the scripture represents preserved wisdom, and the ornate aureole with its intricate flames symbolizes the burning away of spiritual obstacles. The lion beneath serves as both a vehicle and symbol of fearless wisdom that roars truth into existence.

Sanskrit and Buddhist Wisdom

In Sanskrit, Manjushri means "gentle glory," embodying the paradox of fierce compassion. Buddhist teachings describe him as the embodiment of prajna (transcendent wisdom) and the patron of scholars and seekers of truth.

Sacred Mantra

“Om Ah Ra Pa Tsa Na Dhih”
