This breathtaking statue depicts Manjushri in a dynamic seated posture, radiating both power and grace. His youthful, serene face features penetrating eyes that convey clarity and profound intelligence, with an expression of gentle compassion. The ornate five-peaked crown symbolizes the five transcendent wisdoms of the Buddha. His right hand raises the flaming sword of wisdom (prajna khadga) high above, symbolizing the cutting away of ignorance and duality. The left hand delicately holds the stem of an utpala lotus that blooms beside his shoulder, supporting the sacred Prajnaparamita text—the perfection of wisdom scripture.
