Green Tara, (Tibetan: Drolma), is the swift-acting goddess of compassion, protection, and liberation in Vajrayana Buddhism. Beloved across Tibet, Nepal, and Mongolia as the most responsive protectress in the Buddhist pantheon, she is invoked to overcome the eight great fears, remove obstacles swiftly, and guide beings toward liberation with the urgency and tenderness of a mother's love.
